I am beyond honored to share this stunning Tampa Edition Hotel wedding editorial, which was featured on Southern Bride. The idea behind this editorial was to curate a wedding day experience for couples who plan to say I do at the Tampa EDITION Hotel. I’m sharing more details on transforming the venue, along with information on planning your own Tampa EDITION Hotel wedding, below.

Tampa EDITION Hotel Wedding
Stretched along the waters of Tampa Bay lies Tampa EDITION, an exquisite, modern wedding venue and hotel. The luxurious, five-star hotel offers 172 suites for overnight accommodations. On site, you’ll also find seasonal, contemporary cuisine, with Michelin-starred Chef John Fraser at the helm of plated dishes filled with culinary delights.
If you’re considering planning a Tampa EDITION Hotel wedding, you’ll be happy to know that the hotel features multiple venue spaces where you and your guests can gather for your pre-wedding and wedding day events. Welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and reception celebrations can each be hosted in their own dedicated spaces where you and up to 160 (seated) guests can gather for an unforgettable celebration of love.

Ceremony Spaces
There are two distinctive spaces at the Tampa EDITION that can be used to host your wedding ceremony. They are the garden terrace and the ballroom prefunction.
The Garden Terrace
The garden terrace is an open-air space, uncovered from the elements, located at the top of the third floor. This space features tropical greenery and boho design elements that come together for a wedding day that embodies contemporary design.
Ballroom Prefunction
The space you’ll see highlighted through the photos below is dubbed the ballroom prefunction. Its long corridor-designed architecture makes it ideal for hosting your wedding ceremony, with a noteworthy walk down the aisle.
At the end of the room lie floor-to-ceiling windows, where you can overlook the Tampa Bay skyline as you say I do. Conversely, you may outfit this space with decor elements such as installations and drapery to fully transform the space through your own unique wedding day vision.

Receptions at the Ballroom
When it comes to wedding day celebrations at the Tampa EDITION, the expansive ballroom is where a night filled with dinner and dancing takes place.
The space is located on the second floor and offers panoramic views of Tampa through its floor-to-ceiling windows. In the photos featured below, you’ll get to see how this space was designed through decor elements that add a personal level of detail. All in all, creating a lush space with rich autumnal tones and carefully selected table decor.
The ball directly connects to the ceremony space, the ballroom prefunction, as well as the outdoor terrace; where cocktail hours are hosted. Making it easy for your guests to navigate each of your events, while enjoying a captivating experience that puts your love story at the center of it all.
