Located in the heart of West Palm Beach, The Ben is an elegant wedding venue and luxury hotel. If you have guests arriving from out of town to attend your wedding, they will have the option of booking an interior room, or a room with coastal views.

The Ben offers two dining options, on-site so that your guests can enjoy the ease and comfort of their stay. The first is a gastro pub dubbed ‘Proper Grit’. It is located on the ground floor of the hotel and serves modern takes on classic American cuisine with a large selection of libations to pair with your meal. For a dining experience with views, The Ben offers a rooftop experience at ‘Spruzzo’. Spruzzo serves Mediterranean tapas style and inventive cocktails. They also offer a late-night experience, perfect for your wedding guests who’d like to extend the celebration at the end of your reception.

The Ben Wedding Venue Spaces

There are a total of 6 wedding venue spaces located at The Ben in West Palm. However, only two of these are primarily used by couples for their wedding ceremony and reception. These two spaces are The Heron Ballroom and The Park at Banyan Square. I will detail the features of each space, below.

The Heron Ballroom

Undoubtedly, The Ben is known for their Heron Ballroom wedding venue. This enclosed rooftop ballroom is 3500 square feet with coastal views in every direction. The space echoes the charm of the past with modern amenities for a flawless wedding day designed with style. 

Total Capacity | The Heron Ballroom at The Ben can accommodate up to 190 guests for a seated dinner with a DJ and a dance floor. Conversely, The Ben can accommodate a wedding with up to 172 seated guests for dinner with a live band. 

The Park at Banyan Square

In addition to the Heron Ballroom, The Ben also offers an outdoor space at The Park at Banyan Square. This space is located across from the Palm Harbor Marina, directly adjacent to The Ben, and is managed by the team at The Ben. This outdoor space is over 9000 square feet and can host weddings and events with up to 300 guests in attendance. The size of this space makes it flexible for configuring thoughtfully designed seating arrangements.

Often, this space is used by couples to host their wedding ceremony or cocktail hour. However, if you’d like to host your wedding reception outdoors, this space can be tented for your reception. Conversely, wedding receptions at The Park at Banyan Square have the option of hiring an outside caterer, whereas reception in the Heron Ballroom must use The Ben’s in-house caterer.
