Jessica and Ryan’s Haue Valley wedding in St. Louis was a beautiful union celebrating love, family, and faith. As a matter of fact, when I first began working with Jessica and Ryan they both expressed to me what it meant to them to have a wedding photography experience that centered around family. They both shared details of who would be at their side throughout the day, and how much they couldn’t wait to celebrate their story with everyone they love.
The design details of their wedding day were effortless and elegant. There were bountiful white flowers with touches of greenery in their floral design. The tones in their color palette brought together sage and cream. But, above all, there was a dash of sparkle outshining it all. Jessica’s ballgown wedding dress was skirted with the most stunning shimmer, adding a bright yet fun feeling everywhere she went. All in all, their design embodied their own personal style, while drawing on inspiration from their rustic chic wedding venue, Haue Valley.
An Elegant Haue Valley Wedding
One thing in particular that made Jessica and Ryan’s wedding day special was the presence of their children. These adorable littles were there when Mom slipped on her dress, and present when Dad was ready to head to the ceremony. In fact, before Jessica slipped on her wedding dress, her littlest flower girl even tried it on, just to make sure it was ready for the bride. It was a beautiful moment filled with whimsy and childhood delight, but also one I’m sure Jessica will recall for years to come.
With Jessica buttoned up in her gown, it was time to meet Ryan for a first look and private vows. Admittedly, one of the things that Jessica loves so much about Ryan is his sense of humor and his ability to make her laugh. While I did get a glimpse of that on their wedding day, what I witnessed was much deeper. During their private vows, Jessica and Ryan had the time to open their hearts to each other, beyond the view of their guests. They poured into each other and expressed what this day meant to them. Happy tears flowed and Jessica and Ryan embraced one another without reserve.
After their private vows, it was time to get Jessica and Ryan officially married. Their wedding ceremony drew on their faith, expressed their love for family, and solidified their union. The smiles on their faces when they walked back down the aisle, hand in hand, as husband and wife were undeniable. The remainder of their Haue Valley wedding was a fun celebration. Guests of all ages took to the dance floor with glow sticks in hand and let loose in the cutest way!
