I’m beyond excited to share my wonderful cousin Brett and his beautiful fiance Kassidy’s engagement session!

Brett and I grew up together. Like seriously, for a few years we lived right next door while we were going to the same school. We participated in 4-H & FFA, shared the same friends through high school, and even got in trouble a few times that our parents wanted to kick…. nevermind we won’t go down that road. Anyway, we picked on each other so much that when Brett asked me to photograph his wedding, I thought he was joking. That’s just how we were growing up and how we are now! Only I now live here in Missouri & Brett lives back home in Iowa.

When we had our first video call, it was the first time meeting Kassidy and I could tell how much Brett adored her. There was so much excitement in their voice about how they wanted their big day to go.

These two traveled over 5 hours for their engagement session. Besides the 30 mph winds that day, the weather was perfect!

Kassidy & Brett will be tying the knot this coming December at the beautiful new venue Rustic Creek in Hopkinton, Iowa. I’m so excited to be photographing their big day!
