Lauren and Zach’s Wedding at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Arnold, MO was one I won’t soon forget. This weekend was a wedding I had been looking forward to for a few years! Seriously. My husband and Zach’s family are very close and lived near each other growing up. I photographed Zach & Lauren’s family photos a few years back when Reese was a few months old. I mentioned to them when they were ready to tie the knot to let me know!

The day started at Vivian James Salon where hair and make-up were done and the guys hung out at Lauren’s Uncles house. When the girls finished they came to my studio right down the street to get ready. I absolutely felt honored they loved my studio enough to ask me to get ready there.

Lauren got her dress on and everyone was speechless when she came out. She was jaw-dropping and her positivity was more radiant than ever. Reese and Lauren shared a beautiful moment when Lauren gifted her a beautiful pearl bracelet Zach & Her picked out. Reese absolutely loved it. Lauren was surrounded with so much love from her girls, daughter Reese, and her mother. I’m pretty sure her heart was exploding with gratitude at this point because mine sure was! 

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful to witness. After the ceremony, we took the family portraits. The wedding party all loaded up in a white limo and headed to Layfayette Park in St. Louis to take bridal portraits! I’ll give Zach some credit, it was pretty darn hot outside and he toughed it up walking through almost the entire park to get Bride & Groom portraits. We ended the night at The Falls in Columbia, IL. The wedding party had the best entrances and the dance floor was hopping all night. To finish the evening family & friends shared a sparkler exit to send off the newlyweds! Which was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

All in all, it was truly a perfect day and we withstood the heat! Together, Lauren and Zach completely compliment one another. He is always smiling (as is Lauren) and loves her deeply, and quietly. They are, indeed, a perfect match, and I am just bursting with joy that I get to document their love. 

Lauren and Zach, no one deserves this perfect day more than the two of you. I am so beyond happy that I got to be there to witness the beginning of your next big adventure. Thank you a million times over for being so incredible. I hope this new adventure together gets better each and every day. Your joy is contagious and I absolutely loved being surrounded by it on your wedding day. Cheers to many more decades of love and happiness!
