As an engagement photographer in West Palm Beach, I was overjoyed to capture this beautiful session on Worth Avenue with Lexi and Max. Lexi Thompson is an LPGA star and recently became engaged to her longtime love, Max Provost. Max popped the question on New Year’s Day when the couple was in Whistler, enjoying the magical snow-capped landscape. Over the moon about the recent proposal, Lexi took to Instagram to share the news.
Upon their return to South Florida, Lexi and Max connected with me to work with them as their engagement photographer in West Palm Beach. Still savoring the joy of their recent proposal, I suggested we schedule their photoshoot to take place on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. Nestled along the coast, Worth Avenue embodies the energy of the city with a vibrant atmosphere and Mediterranean-inspired architecture. It seemed like a fitting location to carve out a piece of Lexi & Max’s love story.
Worth Avenue Palm Beach
To begin the session, Lexi and Max, dressed in their formal attire, explored Worth Avenue hand in hand. Renowned for its chandeliers and arched walkways, the public street offers a feeling of seclusion for an engagement photoshoot. I quickly noticed how at home Lexi and Max are with one another. They embraced each other so freely and every moment that passed was filled with the sound of their joyous laughter. Their engagement photos reflect the embodiment of their love while celebrating the newfound happiness of their upcoming nuptials.
Many times, when a couple is recently engaged, their days quickly fill with the nuances of wedding planning. Conversations drift from how they envision their life together to talks of dress shopping, guest lists, venues and budgets. But, there is something to be said for slowing down, savoring the moment, and allowing yourself to live in that space of excitement. The space where your engagement is still new, refreshing, and celebrated by all those around you. When I met with them for their photoshoot, Lexi and Max were savoring the moment together. Every display of affection was an opportunity to stare into each other’s eyes or steal a kiss in front of the camera.

Palm Beach Engagement Photos
As our exploration of Worth Avenue drew to a close, the second half of our session was just heating up. Lexi, Max, and their beloved furbaby Leo took to the shores of Palm Beach for engagement photos where the sand meets the sea. Lexi and Max were ready to kick off their shoes and get adventurous. They let the wind blow through their hair and the waves crash against their bare legs. That beautiful feeling of being at home in each other’s arms continued with our change of scenery. I watched as the sea pooled at their feet, sinking them deeper into the sand, capturing every moment.
