You never quite know what kind of weather Missouri will serve up in the middle of February, and in Jacqlyn & Dalton’s case– they got a winter wonderland wedding with sub-zero degrees wind chill! This pre-Valentines Day wedding was at the beautiful Sweet Pecan Farms, nestled on the outskirts of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Jacqlyn & Dalton (and their families & wedding party!) were troopers about trekking into the snow for portraits (and it was SO worth it).
Jacqlyn & Dalton privately exchanged their personal handwritten vows right before the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and intimate. Dalton’s father had the honor to officiate the ceremony. As you can see in the images, it was such a beautiful sight to see both Dalton & his father overcome with emotion as Jacqlyn was walking down the aisle with her father.
The reception was so AMAZING! This wedding was the first I have seen that they had an Auctioneer auction off both the bride & groom for the first dance after the couple had shared theirs. The awesome band Jason Eady & Courtney Patton rocked and sang their hearts out as everyone came together to celebrate the Bride & Groom.
Thank you Jacqlyn & Dalton for choosing my team and me to capture your wedding day! You both have been one of the best couples I have ever had the pleasure of working with and your kindness is something I will always appreciate. Cheers to you both!
