I’ve been so excited to share Rachel & David’s Wedding Day with you all!

The day started at the BEAUTIFUL Loveland Estates House in Greenville, IL( Just 10 mins from the Loveland Estates Venue in Pocahontas, IL) on the property where hair and make-up were done, the girls laughed and admired everyone getting pampered in their flannels. Rachel was surrounded by so much love from her girls and her mother.

She got her dress on and everyone screamed when she came out. She was jaw-dropping and her positivity was more radiant than ever. This became so apparent when she was surrounded by her bridesmaids as they all were just so excited to be a part of the day.

Then comes the groomsmen. The Groomsmen got ready at the Loveland Estates Venue. The Venue has this AWESOME Rustic Loft that the groomsmen got ready in. Kristin had such a blast with them as they took pictures overlooking the property. They were surrounded with laughter and fun all day and I can’t imagine a more perfect wedding day.

Rachel & David shared a first look at the Loveland Estates House Porch. The smile on David’s face couldn’t get any bigger. They both were so excited to see each other. It was a time worth waiting for! We finished up at the Loveland House with some awesome Bridal Party portraits and loaded up the bus to head to the Venue to start Bride & Groom portraits.

When we got to the venue, it just started to rain. Loveland estates had the perfect covered area in the ceremony location that we took advantage of. We even brought out the umbrella to get some close intimate photos. Those photos are seriously my favorite! Then we headed up to the Loft to take some dramatic bridal party photos and oh my gosh! It was so much fun!!! Kristin and I both said at the same time, that when you have time on a wedding day to be creative, YOU TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE. Which we did!

The ceremony was under a covered pavilion that looked just like a greenhouse which was located right next to a beautiful pond. They both wrote letters to one another and sealed them in a beautiful wooden box to open on their one-year wedding anniversary! On their one-year anniversary, they will write another letter to one another and open it on their 10 year and every 10 years after. I absolutely LOVED that idea!

After the ceremony, we took family and wedding party photos, and then dinner. The wedding party had the best entrances, Matron of Honor & the two Best Men had written speeches that pulled my heart strings as they explained how amazing Rachel & David are as individuals and together as a couple.

We snuck out for some sunset portraits, We lost the sun behind the clouds but I’m so glad still went out! The pond scenery made for some very elegant images. We went back inside and watched them enjoy everyone’s company and dancing. Before we left, Rachel & David were laughing in the foyer when Kristin and I took one last shot. It made Kristin & I speechless.

All in all, it was truly a perfect day and the threat of rain passed literally the last minute before the ceremony! Together, Rachel & David completely compliment one another. He is always smiling (as is Rachel) and loves her deeply. They are a perfect match, and I am just bursting with joy that I get to document their love.

Rachel & David, no one deserves this perfect day more than the two of you. I am so beyond happy that I got to be there to witness the beginning of your next big adventure. Thank you a million times over for being so incredible. I hope this new adventure together gets better each and every day. Your joy is contagious and I absolutely loved being surrounded by it on your wedding day. Cheers to many more decades of love and happiness! – B
