I’ve been so excited to share Kenya & Dakota’s Wedding Day with you all!

The day began at the BEAUTIFUL Heartland Farms in Boubon, MO. On the property, where hair and make-up were done, the girls laughed and admired everyone getting prepared to celebrate Kenya & Dakota. Kenya was surrounded by so much love from her girls.

The Groomsmen got ready downstairs of the barn. Kristin had such a blast with them as they took pictures of them getting Dakota ready. Dakota’s mother created all the boutonnieres & bouquets out of wooden flowers. They were perfect!

The ceremony was located right next to a beautiful pond on the property. Dakota waited for his bride to make it passed the wooden doors to turn around. Tears of happiness flowed down their cheeks. They both wrote letters to one another, sealed them in a beautiful wooden box, and tied it closed with a rope to open on their one-year wedding anniversary!

After the ceremony, the wedding party, family, and Bride & Groom portraits took place. The sun was so glowy by the time we finished portraits. We headed back up to the reception barn for dinner. The wedding party had the best entrances, Matron of Honor & Best Men had written speeches that pulled my heart strings as they explained how amazing Dakota and Kenya are as individuals and together as a couple.

We snuck out for some sunset portraits, oh my gosh I was so excited to finally get some sunset photos with a bride & groom. The open field scenery made for some very elegant images. I told Kenya & Dakota during this time, I want you guys just to have fun. Laugh, smile, skip, twirl and dance. This was a perfect time to just take everything in! They did just that. We all laughed how cute they were. We went back inside and watched them enjoy everyone’s company and dancing.

All in all, it was truly a perfect day! Together, Dakota and Kenya completely compliment one another. They are a perfect match, and I am just bursting with joy that I get to document their love.

Dakota and Kenya, no one deserves this perfect day more than the two of you. I am so beyond happy that I got to be there to witness the beginning of your next big adventure. Thank you a million times over for being so incredible and making me feel like I was one of the family. I hope this new adventure together gets better each and every day. Your joy is contagious and I absolutely loved being surrounded by it on your wedding day. Cheers to many more decades of love and happiness! – B
